Mae pawb sy’n gysylltiedig â’r ysgol yn ymfalchïo yng nghynnydd a safonau cyrhaeddiad y disgyblion. Mae yma hinsawdd neilltuol i hybu datblygiad moesol, ysbrydol, cymdeithasol ac academaidd y disgyblion. Mae ehangder datblygiad diwylliannol ein disgyblion yn destun balchder.

Mae gan yr ysgol adnoddau gwych i hyrwyddo datblygiad personol y disgyblion ac i gyflwyno addysg o’r radd flaenaf yn yr unfed ganrif ar hugain. Yn ogystal â dwy uned ddysgu gynhwysfawr, Uned Cyfnod Sylfaen ac Uned Yr Iau, mae ystod ardderchog o gyfleusterau chwaraeon, hamdden ac astudio awyr agored ar gael yn yr ysgol. Mae’r disgyblion hefyd yn elwa o’r profiadau cyfoethog sy’n deillio o ymweliadau a digwyddiadau addysgol gydol y flwyddyn.

Daw disgyblion 3 i 11 oed presennol yr ysgol o Bengelli, Pontarddulais, Llangyfelach, Craig-cefn-parc, Tregwyr a Threforys yn ogystal â phentref Felindre ei hun a’r dalgylch lleol.

Ceisiwn ysbrydoli'r plant trwy seilio eu haddysg ar iaith, crefydd, diwylliant a threftadaeth Cymru, a chreu ymwybyddiaeth gref o Gymreictod ac ennyn balchder yn ein hiaith yng nghalon pob plentyn.

Welcome to Ysgol Felindre’s web pages. You are invited as parents to participate in all the School's activities, and we look forward to a happy, successful and fruitful partnership during your child's primary education.

Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Felindre is situated in the lovely village of Felindre, some 3 miles from Llangyfelach in the City and County of Swansea. It is an active and forward looking designated Welsh school which is at the heart of the community. All those connected to the school take pride in the progress and attainment standards of all pupils. There is an exceptional climate to develop pupils' moral, spiritual, social and academic development. The breadth of our pupils' cultural development is also a source of pride.

The school has excellent resources to promote pupils' personal development and to introduce first-rate education in the twenty first century. As well as two comprehensive teaching units, a Foundation Phase Unit and Junior Unit, there is a good range of sports, leisure and outdoor education facilities. Pupils also benefit from the rich experiences arising from the various educational visits and events throughout the year.

The current 3 to 11 year old pupils come from, Pontarddulais, Llangyfelach, Treboeth, Craig-cefn-parc, Gowerton, Cwmrhydyceirw and Morriston as well as the village of Felindre and the local catchment area.

We endeavor to inspire the children by basing their education on the language, religion, culture and heritage of Wales and create a strong awareness of Welshness and encourage each child to take pride in our language.
